Not only have we provided moorings for long-term navigation aids, we also supply moorings for hydrographic buoys, hazard warning systems, wind farms, ports and harbours LNG facilities and offshore platforms.

With hundreds of navigation buoy moorings supplied over the past 20 years, Offspring International offers the complete mooring assembly, comprising sinkers, shackles, swivels, bridles and pendant chain. For deepwater moorings, we can provide mooring lines made of synthetic fibre rope, or a combination of chain and rope along with all joining accessories.

OIL works closely with buoy manufacturers and component suppliers, managing all aspects of the moorings supply project overseeing manufacture, testing, trial-fit, assembly and delivery to the nominated point of destination.

Offspring International buoy mooring systems generally comply with industry guidelines for navigational buoy moorings. In addition to Grade U2 chain, we also offer Grade U3 chain. Chain is usually supplied as Open Link for maximum weight and cost savings, although if the Client specifies it we can offer studlink, as required.
