For Single Point Mooring of Catenary Anchor Leg Mooring (CALM) buoys, OIL offers chain and polyester ropes for mooring, buoy-end triplates, shackles, hausers, floatation collars and chaf chains.  Offspring International's full range of Single Point Mooring products is manufactured and supplied in strict accordance with the OCIMF 2000 “Guidelines for the Purchasing and Testing of SPM Hawsers”. Moreover, our technical department is committed to ongoing testing, development, and optimisation of rope designs, based on the latest rope developments.

Deepwater Mooring

Deepwater exploration and production is one of the biggest technical challenges facing the oil and gas industry. Offspring International is the world's leading supplier of deepwater polyester rope mooring systems, this includes Spar, submerged turret loading buoy and floating production platforms. OIL's range of deepwater mooring products includes GAMA 98® polyester rope tethers and Moduline® polyester ropes and GAMA 98¨ rope  made with DYNEEMA®.

OIL, in a joint development with subsea mooring specialist First Subsea and Lankhorst Ropes Offshore Division, also offers a range of fibre rope connectors designed specifically for deepwater moorings.
