Mark Brooks Appointed Sales & Marketing Director at Offspring International

Mark Brooks has been promoted to Sales and Marketing Director at Offspring International Ltd (OIL). Since joining OIL in 2009 as Single Point Moorings (SPM) Sales Manager, he and the OIL team have significantly increased the company’s share of the global SPM business.

In addition to Lankhorst Ropes SPM hawsers and Offspring’s associated product portfolio (floating/submarine hoses, breakaway couplings), Mark Brooks will also be responsible for Offspring’s navigation and buoy mooring business. “It’s a great opportunity to continue to grow our SPM and mooring systems business,” said Mark. “Offspring International has consistently delivered clear technical and in-service performance benefits to operators.”

Offspring International has recently added floating, submarine and catenary hoses and MIB Breakaway Couplings to its SPM range. OIL Founder and Director, Nigel Grainger sees a broadening role for Offspring in terminal operations.

“We are delighted that Mark Brooks has agreed to join the Offspring International board. As well as strengthening the board, he and his team have the skills and experience needed to ensure we continue to expand our service to operators with market leading mooring systems and solutions,” he noted.
