Sales Manager for South America

Offspring International has appointed Mauricio Spaolonzi as a regional sales manager. Responsible for the South American markets, Mr Spaolonzi will develop Offspring International’s SPM Hawser, Marine hose and complete range of ancillary products in the region.

Mauricio Spaolonzi is a mechanical engineer whose previous roles include several managerial positions for both Goodyear Engineered Products and most recently Flexomarine S.A.

Offspring International sales and marketing director, Mark Brooks, commented “Mauricio’s knowledge and experience of the South American hose market as well as being fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English made him the ideal candidate to develop Offspring International’s operations in the region”.

Founded over 20 years ago, Offspring International began life as a supplier of chain and fittings. Since then it has become a leading supplier of Single Point Mooring systems and Deepwater Moorings, as sales and marketing agent for Lankhorst Ropes, while continuing to develop its chain and fittings business. It has recently added floating, submarine and catenary hoses and MIBreak Breakaway Coupling to its SPM range.
