Offspring International expands mooring chain capability

Offspring International (OIL) has extended its range of chain to offer larger offshore grade chain and full project management services for offshore mooring systems. Offshore mooring projects previously handled by OIL’s sister company, Sanmar Chain, will now be managed by Offspring International.

Offspring customers will experience the same high level of service with OIL continuing to work closely with clients to consider the overall project picture, rather than the scope of chain supply in isolation. Offspring achieve this by incorporating the highest project management skills and overseeing manufacturing standards throughout the entire project process, from contract review, through manufacturing to testing, inspection, certification, final dispatch and documentation.

Offshore Chain

Offspring International offers stud link and studless mooring chains up to and including 187mm diameter in all offshore grades: R3, R3S, R4, R4S, and R5. Offspring staff have experience in managing chain projects including Spar platforms, CALM buoys, MODUs, and all mooring configurations for FPSOs, FSOs, FPUs etc.

Sanmar Chain International had a successful track record in supplying chain to offshore projects in the Gulf of Mexico, South America, West Africa, South East Asia, Australia, Europe, Middle East, India and the Mediterranean.
