Offspring International has completed the registration of its China Office – Offspring International Ltd – Zhenjiang Rep. Office. Previously, the office had been registered with Offspring International’s sister company Sanmar Chain International.

“Having a team in China allows Offspring to work closely with our manufacturing partners and ensure product quality meets the most rigorous project, classification and international standards,” said Mark Brooks, managing director for Offspring International. “We were the first to recognise the quality of offshore grade mooring chain in China more than 25 years ago and having a local team provide inspection and project management has helped us provide a reliable supply of chain for mooring projects across the world.

“Now with Offspring’s new agency agreement with DockGuard, a global provider of marine fender technology, our China Operations team will also oversee the production of our quayside infrastructure range, including marine fenders, fendering systems and mooring bollards.”

Independent Verification & Project Management

In addition to ensuring the quality of Offspring International’s mooring and offloading products, the Offspring International China office also offers a third-party independent verification service as well as project management for offshore and subsea companies. “Over the past few years oversight by Offspring’s China team has helped assure our clients’ customers that their orders are being produced to specification and are on track to meet their project timelines,” noted Mark Brooks.
