Offspring International completes first valve supply with partner Marine Division

Offspring International has completed its first and second supply of valves with partner Marine Division. Offspring International supplied two butterfly valves for a Single Point Mooring facility on the Falkland Islands.

Following the successful first supply, Offspring International was given a further order for butterfly valves and associated hardware. The butterfly valves will be used as hose end valves, regulating fluid transfer between the hose string and tanker as well as preventing water ingress in between operations.

“Through our partnership with Marine Division, we have grown Offspring’s comprehensive range of offloading equipment to include a huge variety of offshore valves and control systems. Offspring International gives customers access to the valve ranges of the world’s leading manufacturers, enabling a bespoke package to suit the requirements each offloading system to be formed,” said Mark Brooks, sales and marketing director for Offspring International.

Commenting, Greg Abbott, Director, Marine Division said, “Marine Division and Offspring International share the same aim of providing customers with equipment that provides outstanding operational performance, reliability and safety. I’m delighted to have completed our first project together and look forward to many more.”
