In the first edition of ‘Meet the Team’, we get to know Offspring International’s team in China. Led by Bill Shen, China operations and site project manager, our experienced team includes June Zhang – office administrator & order logistics, Emily Lv – project document controller, and Sean Chou – inspection engineer.

Offspring International was the first to recognise the quality of Chinese mooring chain and introduce it to the world market, quickly building operations to supply first major offshore chain order from any Chinese manufacturer in 2000 with a CALM buoy mooring project in Thailand. Mooring chain for the Devil’s Tower Spar followed two years later; at the time the largest offshore mooring chain ever made in China.”

Sean and I frequently visit Asian Star Anchor Chain’s factory to ensure our customer’s chains are produced to specification by witnessing and inspecting manufacturing and testing procedures, as well as being present for final inspection and trial fit.”
